Taking my time ....

I ain't tired, I ain't fedup !!

But simply couldn't write a post !!!!

Its been a fairly long time since my last post but i kinda busy to do the favour. I am just not getting what to write here. This is not becoz i dont have anything to say but a lot. A fraction of this "lot" is i am really busy with my new job.

I've somehow joined Vodafone (dont know why) and getting/doing just too much. Tasks are very easy but really odd. The odds are not yet over here. Late night sittings, monotonous work and unncecessary deals are making my life tougher.I am missing Headstrong for the quality of work i was doing.

There is no work and life balance around me now a days. Anyways !!!! Anything for bread :) !!!

As far as the personal life is concerned.... OK Leave it .... LOL :)

Believe in urself....

There may be days
when you get up in the morning
and things aren't the way
you had hoped they would be.

That's when you have to
tell yourself that things will get better.
There are times when people
disappoint you and let you down.

But those are the times
when you must remind yourself
to trust your own judgments and opinions,
to keep your life focused on believing in yourself.

There will be challenges to face
and changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed
in the right direction for you.
It may not be easy at times,
but in those times of struggle
you will find a stronger sense of who you are.

So when he days come that are filled
with frustration and unexpected responsibilities,
remember to believe in yourself
and all you want your life to be.

Because the challenges and changes
will only help you to find the goals
that you know are meant to come true for you.

And someday a God's creature will come to you
will say that keep doing the bushwalks
and keep looking at the rising mountains
Go ahead and dare to dream.

And why this creature would say this to you Manu
because on the same day he will see that you have belief in yourself.

Bench Time folks ....

Hi !!!!

Summer has begun in India but this time its heat is very different. Just like the begining of the last summer, i am again on bench. This time it is a pain sitting on bench. Last time we rolled off one project and this time we got rolled off from the project. I am just trying to improve my technical skills now a days. Environment seems to be pretty much uncomfortable for the guys who are on bench. Does IT industry lost its shine ?? Well i dont think so because IT is facing a ripple effect of slowdown.

Surroundings nearby India is already under fire. Things are looking worst because everything is happening simultaneously. People are making deadlocks on road. Where should they move on nobody can answer. At one end we have terrorists and at another end we have global recession. Causing jams in a growing economy. Either we can just hope for something good to happen so that we can move on or.... Can we do something ?? Everybody should think about it.

So lets just participate in doing something good for the country. It is always good to be a participant rather than a spectator.

First and foremost thing is to vote in the coming elections in April. Most of us dont vote and as a result of which we dont have good leaders. I heartly appreciate the "Jago Re" campaign by Tata Tea. It is indeed a fabulous effort. So please just dont sleep on election day if u want a good sleep ahead.

Wishing u all a very HAPPY HOLI in advance.

2009's FIRST POST ..

Hi !!!!
Writing first blog of the year....
Belated happy new year, Belated happy republic day, Belated valentine day, .. Now wish me belated happy birthday in return... LOL :)

Scripting heavily now a days not becoz of work pressure but for my own knowledge. Market is still not so good and the news of the month is indeed the Sapient lay-off. I dont know how can a company even think that we dont need this much number of guys in just one day. This is nothing but just a bad result of the flop strategies of over ambitious Sapient management. Such kind of companies are good for nothing. These are only good in spreading panic in sector. I wish all the luck to the guys who were laid off.

I have got good performance review from my manager but still it is good for nothing as we are not getting hikes. All the beneficiary promotions are suspended. (Who want to take non-beneficiary roles ??).

Well these days are really critical for everyone specially for those guys who are directly or indirectly related to US economy.

BUT BOSS !!!! INDIA IS BOOOOOMING !!!! FOR SURE.

Long live INDIA.

HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE !!!!

Hi !!!!

Its been a big gap since i blogged. Thus efforting now to fill it with the brief of past one month activities.
Well, wat to begin with ??

OKK Got it !!

After diwali i had a lot of work to do .... few backlogs and more rollouts at work. Glad to finish it on time and now investing time in brushing up my theoritical skills and doing some drawing in adobe photoshop.

Environment near by me has changed like never before now a days. Market is not so good and so is IT sector. No increments, cost cutting, role changing etc were the highlights of past one month. This excludes the environment which is continuously changing on my personel side. Many of my friends were the victim of this marriage season. They are now engaged with the new responsibilities and in short married now.

The experience of attending a friend's marriage is always mixed (This is what i felt). Life is settling down everything at its own even if you dont want to get it settled so early. Well, I am always a well-wisher of all my friends.

At the fun n frolic side, i have got rafting this time. A sixteen kilometers whitewater river rafting in Ganga was a real fun. Though i must admit that it wasn't a good season to do so because the water was obviously colder than our expectations. We have completed this in about one hour and 40 mins.

December looks a bit calm in terms of work. Holidays in second and fourth week are preventing us from work burn and so running fast.
Weather is changing here in Noida and i am expecting more fog going forward till 10th Jan atleast.
Planning to go home in the coming week so happy new year and merry christmas in advance.

Take Care.

Happy Diwali

Dunes of vapors from crackers rise,
Engulf, as odorous airs resound

Pearls of gleams in these autumn nights

Adorn our lives else trite
With sparklers that motley skies
As soaring spirits of powder wander

Let us thank the heavenly might,
In this festive season of lights..

Who is NeXt ????

Lehman is already bankrupted who is next..AIG?? No AIG is saved by Federal Reserve Bank at the cost of 85 billion USD... Right now Morgan Stanley is catching my eye......

Surprise of the month was indeed the fall of world's fourth largest investment bank Lehman Brothers along with the Meryll Lynch sold out to Bank of America. Barclay is also planning to save Lehman in its last effort. Lets see how long they can process with each other.

Impact of these unwanted happenings can be directly observed in our IT mkt as about 40% of the IT mkt revenue comes from the financial sector of US. Companies are losing business and so ppl are losing their jobs. This time situation is even more worse than the last time (In January : Bear Stearns) when the slump was controlled by the efforts of whole industry but this time it is not a question of a bank it is about US economy which is falling.

Analysts are saying that this is just a begining and you cant even rely on mkts like UK and JAPAN. JAPAN is supposed to be the next. The countries which are playing safe in terms of economy are very few and India is one of them. But needless to say we ourselves are our own enemies.

Dont ask me why?? "JIHAAAAAD da RUBBISH".

We can do only one thing which is DREAMING.... Every time when i figured out that the market is up and quirks are over, along way comes a curve ball. Bad analysis of mine.

So just wait and watch who is rolling the ball and for whom.

What will happen with the freshers of BTECH/MBA(Fin) this year. Who knows??

HAIL AMERICA !!

My Active Zone ....

Hi,
The last few days were faster than ever and i am in an active zone. I am not saying they were hectic but tight and packed. My schedule now a days is very arranged just like it was a way years back when i was in school. Seems everything very handy now a days.

Secret behind this is, I am enjoying a full family life. My parents are with me. I always want to live with them. I wish if i could always live within their blissful company. In short i love my parents. Its been always great to live a family life because it also increase your productivity at work. This is what i felt.

I felt that i am planning things better now a days. I am producing results at work and simultaneously
giving time to home and friends. This is what multitasking mean. Twiggy??
All the body pranks were rejuvenated as i again started some bodybuilding. Lets see how long i can go
this time.

Thats all folks. Its 11:30 pm here and its time to blackout.
Bbye.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY....

"!! कुछ आरजू नहीं बस आरजू है, रखदे कोई ज़रा सी खाके - वतन कफ़न में !!"
- अशफाक उल्ला खान

Wishing all my countrymen a very happy independence day. Its been 61 years since we have been living so called free life but in reality we are still slave and more than that we were in British Time.

We are slave of many social evils such as dowry, child abusing/labour, corruption etc. What affect the country most is residing in us. Today if u r not enough smart to deal with such evils, its sad.

On the proud occassion of Independence Day i want to thank all martyrs and will also try to change the system around me. Why not? I am a part of it and if system is abused its like everyone abused.

!!!! BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD ........ JAI HIND JAI BHARAT !!!!

Great few weeks.....

Lot of time..... lot of words...... lot to say.... Long time since my last post. LOL.

But feeling feverish so trying to keep this post short.

Past few weeks were really awesome and great for me and my family.
Very first of all let me congratulate myself on being a brand new chachu. Yeah our family is blessed with a baby girl. A sweet, cute little angel is named by my mom. She had given her a name "Urja (ऊर्जा)". She is so charming and keeps everyone so busy.

Now about this weekend. ......
We had a trip to Pithoragarh this weekend and covered the whole kumaon. It was great to feel cold in summer season there.

Find the pics of the trip here:

http://picasaweb.google.com/manuswami/ChakoriPithoragarhTrip
My trip mates were none other than my all time favourite friends. Needless to say their names.
Njoy the pics.
Bbye.

Great Conversation.......

Hi !!
While having a cup of coffee with my friend who is a Senior level sales guy and a very successful buddy in his life i went thru his one liners. Later on i felt why he is so calm and succesful.

Here are few lines which stamped a big impact on me:
=======================================================
Me: I have doubts regarding my career and life. I am unable to make a balance between them so far.

My friend: What are those doubts??

Me: How could i name all?? It could be many.

My friend: Okies..... Doubts are always there in the begining of anything. Later on they get converted into Queries and after that into Lessons. Now what do you think?? Are they troubling or good to have??

Me: I think its both. What do you think?? How do you handle such situations??

My friend: (With a very sarcastic Smile) As a sales guy its always tough to maintain a sync in between work and personal life but i have to. And i feel no problem in that. My doubt is my passion and my passion is my task. So why should i assign another tasks to me?? Therefore i dont have doubts.

Me: Great going.... But what if you are experiencing it first time?? You will be a novice then how do you overcome this new event??

My friend: (This time even more sarcastic in his smile) You should not be afraid of owing new things in life or in profession. Remember, only a new guy can write a new hypothesis, oldie will just follow the old ones so he cant write any new. Its always first time when you do something new. You must go ahead and take the ownership. No matter you are novice or what. Professionals can only built Titanic.

Me: Yeah....
=========================================================
I think it was the first time when i was convinced so early by anyone. I really had no words then. I was speechless like someone scolded me. But smiling like a buddy who just got a bundle of secret powers.

His suggestions were very fruitful in may ways and though i was again in many doubts but i m gonna think about what exactly he said.
So lets start thinking about it together...... CHEERS !!

Get....... Set....... GO........

Its been about two months without work. I am on bench but leisure seems to be over here as i will be on board from the first week of June. My new client will be Goldman Sachs (Again an investment banker).

Did i mention earlier that i never wanted to get engaged with financial domain?? But its my fate that i am getting the work in the same domain, again and again. Previously it was with Morgan Stanley which is also an investment bank. Well what can i do? Nothing at all. But one thing is for sure that i'll get the chance to digg around some large databases using PERL. PERL is something which i was missing out in my skill set but now it will be there as a STAR in my CV.

Important is that i am continuously getting work which is required to get a good appraisal. Also it is in UNIX this time which is my all time favourite. I am in dork and fed up of all rubbish meetings now a days therefore it wud be my ultimate pleasure to come back on my track.

I wont be as frequent as now a days in blog writing but i hope i'll manage. I know i can try. Slowly it is becoming a mandatory part of my daily schedule. I felt it. At least it is with me when i am alone and even when nobody is with me. Time is changing and so ppl, even me.

I took my chill pill !! now time to study.

HAPPY WEEKEND GUYS........

Meaningless for some or meaningful for some??

Emotions just flew out when i was listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers.

As emotions flew out from all around, I wonder, if people really know what is love, faith, trust, break up, friendship, tears, pain, hope and the likes. These are commonly used words by everyone. But how many of them really know the meaning of this? How many of them have really felt what pain is, love is and friendship is?

Love is Blind. - Not at all agreeable. (Lovers has eyes)
(Personal view- No Offence meant whatsoever)

Love is the most beautiful presence that can be felt. May be it cannot be seen. But it is not something that happens. It is something that makes you happening.Love is just not the love between a girl and a boy or something that is shown in bollywood movies. I don't blame the bollywood movies. It is not that they aren't making quality movies. It is just that, they are trying to express the most wonderful happening of life.

Friendship is not just a friend in need is a friend indeed or just a small help.Friendship doesn't mean money, standing by you all the while. It is a state when one shares his/her soul with someone else. There is a relation between hope, trust, faith, friendship and love. It is a chain.

Hope, trust and faith only makes love and friendship work out.
Without knowing the meaning of these words, it is being used in every sentence of life. The value is lost.Hope, faith and trust creates Love and its only with love that we are bonded with.Love is between a parent and a child, a teacher-student, between friends, relatives and even online friends :)
I Jus pray that these words gain some value over the time.... :)

Hail April.........

Hi Buddies........
Just had Shimla tour this weekend to add one more star in my leisure month.
The tour was really fun and we have covered a big area around. Tourmates were Diggu, PP, Uday and Vicky. Uday is a nice guy..... i met him for the first time.

Though our all days were tightly packed but somehow we managed to enjoy a lot. Shimla was very cold and we literally forgot tht its summerdays just a few kilometers down in Delhi.

Situated in the north-West Himalayas, Shimla was the summer capital of India before independence is now the capital of Himachal Pradesh.Shimla derives its name from "Shyamala";- the goddess Kali, whose temple existed in the dense forest that covered Jakhu Hill in the early 19th century. My tourmate Uday had somehow managed to visit that Jaakhu area. The English named it " Simla ". The city is surrounded by pine, deodar, oak and densed forests. Its well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions make it one of India's most popular hill-stations.

Few things which i liked about Shimla:
1). City's Architecture (British time buildings, which are really well maintained)
2). Cooooooool crowd and more cool weather
3). Deep and Densed Forest
4). Easy accessibility
5). Strict law and order

Few things which i didnt like about Shimla:
1). Less natural city, always seems to be artificial
2). Conveyance inside the city

BUT I MUST MENTION THAT SHIMLA IS THE BIGGEST HILL STATION I HAVE EVER SEEN AND IT IS LESS BEAUTIFUL THAN MY FAVOURITE NAINITAL.

Guys you can compare it with Mussoorie but not with Nainital. As far as the fun is considered, we just enjoyed there.

One thing which i think was missed out was to travel in toy train. I left it for the next time.
Pics of the tour are available at the belowmentioned link....
Seeeeeee Yaaaa.......

A Few good men.......

Hi....
This weekend was awesome. I met some of my old mates. I was really excited and wanted to meet them at the earliest. I am sure each and everyone of us was equally fervent.

It was the wedding occasion in the family of one of my oldest friend, Himanshu at Naintal. As expected, got there three very old friends (Himanshu, Jagdish, Vineet). Though i was also expecting Jitendra and Alind to be there. But the duo were missing out of the event. Clearly they all are my school mates yaar and Last time i met them in 1995.. Bachpan k saathi. LOL.

We guys talked over too many ppl, areas, subjects, places etc and moreover tried to recollect some past moments, which made us laugh all the time. We all just sat and reminisce the evening. Every event was cherished by all of us.

I am happy that we all are doing good in our respected areas. I want to meet them again, again and again in my life. Such kinda get together can rejuvenate your boring and stupid lifecycle and protect it being miserable.

I wish them all the best and may they get success in each phase of life.
God Bless.. (Photo Attached)

I got my time pass this week.....

Here I am again blogging Quite busy. Im back to share with you all about the new web experience. Experience which i just had. Its monday today and i was really feeling sleepy in the office. No work to do (actually not yet assigned). Just rolled off one project.
From the begining of last week, was searching for a time pass kinda thing. I think nothing is betta than doing nothing. But wanted to keep myself busy (really). Puzzled????
OK.... Find the answer at your own.

Last week was started with a plan. Plan was to visit Manali, Rohtang and other nearviews. It didnt work. Again back to the same node (Remember: Circular link list). Started some gym related activities but lack of partner (alwaz mandatory while sweating out) pulled me back to the same node.
Who cares when plans don 't work?? (Obviuosly i dont.)
Again made a plan which was a real time pass. It was to change the look of blog. I have got all the facilities related to this work in google and most importantly the internet was available at home. I was really honoured tht my internet was workin fine and no faults were detected. I think i shud pay a tip to my ISP.
Changed all the colors(colours)(whateva u say), fonts, pics etc. It took me one day to finish. While doing, i just went thru a profile (Chinese). Blogger was stupendous there and touched my heart. Really telling you it was a superb blog.
It was mentioned in the Chinese blog that "every thing is copy right protected".
I have got inspiration(hehehehehehe) from there and changed my whole blog accordingly.
I hope tht chinese blogger is not reading this right now.
So welcome to the all new blog of Manu Swami. It has got links to the other pages, chatbox, 500 pics, my resume, poems and few songs. And obviously few posts.
Drop me a msg in my chat box if you dont have balance in your cell phone.
God Bless.

What's In The Name? I like my name initials too......

Do you like your name and initials? Most people do and, as past research has shown, sometimes we like them enough to influence other important behaviors.

My initials are "MS" and i like them. It has similarity with world number 1 investment bank "Morgan Stanley" and world number 1 IT company "MicroSoft".

So i have no reason now but to love my initials. Even "Michael Schumacher" loves his initials.

I am not an exception. Michael bhaai ki baat maan lete hain.

How to Be Proactive ??

Being proactive means thinking and acting ahead - basically, this means using foresight. It's a great method for avoiding more work down the road but also can be extremely important for averting disasters, planning well for the future and for instituting systems at work, in study and at home that make life easier for not just you, but others as well. Many of us look to proactive people as the instigators of action and creative ideas in society. Here are some suggestions for helping you to become a more proactive person.

Take a good look at your responsibilities. Ask yourself some questions:
1). What kinds of tasks do or don't come your way regularly? For example, at work, at home, during study etc.
2). What kinds of tasks come in large groups?
3). What kinds of tasks need immediate attention when they arrive?

Examine critically how you might perform those tasks more efficiently. Before the next rush:
1). Create a Plan, procedure, checklist or routine"
to accomplish the task.
2). Recruit and instruct others to assist with an urgent or large task.
3). Gather information you will need to perform a task, or if necessary information comes from a flow of people who bring the tasks, create a script, checklist, or form to capture it consistently. 4). Look for steps in the process to eliminate, consolidate, or shorten.

Try to prevent problems from ever arising. This means tackling possible failings in advance to prevent them from becoming a reality. Get into the habit of taking precautions and developing fallback plans.

Develop a mindset that looks to solve problems instead of dwelling on them :
a. Define the problem (what is it exactly?)
b. Decide what needs to happen to overcome the problem and how you’re going to do that; and
c. Get on with it!

Get ahead and stay ahead of less-urgent, day-to-day tasks. Doing so means that they'll be out of the way when rushes come and will not be worrying you unnecessarily.

Know which tasks are priorities and which can wait. Write out daily lists of tasks and head the list, ‘I will do’ and not ‘to do’. Boldly cross off each item as it is achieved. Keep this list close at hand and let it direct your actions. If it goes too long without crossing anything off, reassess what you are doing to make sure that you do finish the tasks listed on it.

Eliminate altogether any task that is truly unnecessary. Some things do not need doing, or do not need to be done by you. Do not waste time on them and do not allow a misplaced sense of guilt lead you into thinking that somehow you are responsible for them. If tasks are unnecessary, they will not add to your effort and are thus, a waste of energy. Be ruthless in making this assessment about the value of a task. Evaluate your procedures and processes as you use them. What works and what does not? Make notes for improvements, and incorporate those improvements during the next lull. Discard anything that does not work but take care to note when something is in need of tweaking and adjust it accordingly so that it does work.

Try to anticipate needs. Are rushes seasonal? Are there extra activities associated with certain times of the day, week, month, or quarter? Can you prepare in advance? Look ahead and do not be afraid of the unknown. A small amount of future stability can be self-generated by planning ahead and being ready for those things over which you do have some control. Try to anticipate things you will need to know. Can you learn a new skill ahead of time? Can you apply a skill you already have in a new way? Watch the trends around you; keep up-to-date by reading and continuous learning. Proactive people are successful because they are immersed in unfolding history as well as understanding the lessons of the past.

Look for ways to automate routine tasks. Computers can manipulate data in all sorts of ways. Even having a template or a standard plan of action can save time. If you work in a team context, delegation is also a form of automation, in that knowing the best person to do a task will automatically result in its being done to the best level possible, removing it from the pile of "to-do's". Thus, have in place a system that automatically moves tasks to those best suited to them.

Tips:
1). Although time spent specifically planning or organizing is not time spent on a necessary task, a little planning can save a lot of time down the road. Do not overlook it with the excuse that it is wasted time; you will regret not having a plan to follow later and will truly waste time going back over old ground.
2). The opposite of proactive is reactive. If you find yourself "fighting fires", or reacting to problems only after they crop up, take a good look at what is wrong!

Warnings:
1). Don't get so caught up in planning that you fail to act (i.e. paralysis by analysis). A plan does not need to be watertight, only indicative and motivating. You can always return to it as time goes on and add more. There is no such thing as perfection and trying to reach this at the commencement of a plan is wasted effort.
2). It is only possible to anticipate so much, so be ready to react, too, if something unexpected comes up. Flexibility is a key positive trait of a proactive person. Being proactive means anticipating and preparing for all possible outcomes, not controlling your future.

SIMPLERLY................. "BE MANU"..........................

Story of One Rupee....

On stepping out of Infinitea (yeah, thats a cool name for a tea shop), I reached for the wallet in my hind pocket to check if I picked up the credit card ( a practice which simply refuses to leave me). As I did so, I saw a beggar on the footpath looking at us. Involuntarily I pulled out a rupee coin for the poor chap. As we proceeded towards him, what gave me a jolt was that...HE DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR IT, and as if its not enough, HE TURNED AWAY. I wish somebody had taken a snap of my face at that point of time. I stood there like a..you know what,my hand almost stretched to give him the money. One seeing this, Prakash started laughing his ass off.

Dude its ONE RUPEE!! Well WHAT NOT CAN A RUPEE BUY YOU.I now wonder what all can a rupee buy the beggar. Definitely he looked like he smoked ( lets just assume yaar ). The rupee could buy him at least a couple of beedis. He just knocked off his opportunity. Or lets say, he already had his beedis, then definitely it could have bought him a match. Lo, he again knocked off his opportunity.Forget the whole smoke thing. Anyways, but i still wonder what all a rupee can buy. And the fact that rupee is appreciating with respect to many of its peers in the global economy, I am all the more curious n it. Are you ? Have you wondered what all a rupee can buy ? No ? Start.

(i was intrigued by the website 5paisa.com, so why not onerupee.com, hey why not buy this domain ?)

--- This was intended to be my closing lines, I checked out the domain and sure enoough, there exists a site with this domain name and of all the things its in HEBREW!!!!

WHEN DID YOU USE CROSS JOIN??

Very funny Thing.......... ;)

Seriously though, does anybody actually use the CROSS JOIN syntax? It's just a bloomin' cartesian product at the end of the day. I suppose it could be useful from a documentation point of view as it would be a clear indication that the cartesian product was deliberate

(assuming the developer knows what they're doing).

Agree about the natural joins, definitely bad practice, even on the best designed databases.

Surrendered GOD.......

A man walking along a California beach was deep in prayer. All of a sudden, he said out loud, "Lord, grant me one wish."Suddenly the sky clouded above his head and in a booming voice the Lord said, "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish." The man said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii, so I can drive over anytime I want to." The lord said, "Your request is very materialistic. Think of the logistics of that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of another wish, one that would honour and glorify me."The man thought about it for a long time. Finally he said,"Lord, I wish that I could understand women. I want to know how they feel inside, what they are thinking when they give me the silent treatment, why they cry, what they mean when they say 'nothing', and how I can make a woman truly happy."After a few minutes God said, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

Success lies inside us.....

The hurdles in my path alwaz inspire me. I assert that they r the pillars to success. Despite the ambience of tough time, a smile can change ur living style. Sometimes failure is a path of least persistence.

Worries are not the part of my empire but to stay cool. So better to luv the dreams of future than the history of past.

Here is a popular phrase in this connection:"SHOOT FOR THE MOON, EVEN IF U MISS, U'LL FALL AMONGST ANY OF THE STARS."

Get urself more stylish everyminute. It is a showtime running 'Live'. Give ur best out here. Every event came across is a successful result of ur past iterations.
Difference is .... How u see this? Wish u a grand successful day.

Its my life.........

You gotta love new beginnings. These are the times in which you begin to lie to yourself in a brand new way. Yes, I will lose weight. Yes, I will work out. Yes, I will make more money. Yes, I will become smarter. Yes, I will write better music. Yes, I will become better. Better. And I'm doing it all for me. Right.

You can't count the lies because they grow on top of each other and multiply until they've blanked out everything. How clear were things when I was a child? I hadn't started raising my own lies.

I was who I found myself to be, not who I told myself I was.At least I can stop feeling lonely. It seems to me that everybody is lying, if not to each other, to themselves. I know that's a blanket statement and as such is likely to be false, but if I were to put my money all on one blanket....

This is WHO I AM??????

An eternal optimist, and like people with great sense of humor. Being a novice in blogging i dont have a good idea about what to write here in my first post at my blog but still i am trying to start with a conventional heading of "About Me"

Physically i am fit and fine and so my mental state is.

What to write is really a thing to think?

I am very jovial between friends but this joviality is not limitless as known as a typically serious person image in my family.

I love to live each and every moment of life with fun and courage, as it comes. I am a philosopher too but i know that my friends wont agree with this thing of mine.

I'm a all or nothing kind of guy. I think I'm currently living a life less ordinary. Everyday brings new learnings, and that's really what matters most at the end of the day.

I have a passion of changing passions. Each and everyday my passion changes. Just as right now i am passionate about women. This is not becoz that i am alone at my home but as i said i use to read philosophy. A woman's strength and power, her spirituality, her earthiness, the mother in her, the child in her, the lover in her, the slayer in her - she is so complex and so very beautiful.

I dont want to conquer world though dreams has no limits. I usually hate this kind of dreaming. I neither wanna be a Hitler nor Gandhi.

What i believe that the LIFE is much more than a word. It has no end. People are remembered even after their death. No matter what the reason is (Good or Bad) but remembered.

Life starts with "L" which has several meanings like Live, Laugh and Learn but i dont believe that it can end up with a simple one byte character "E". Rather I would like to hear from all the characters made by God (As i said dreams has no limits).

Apart of this i love indian cuisine and i am very fond of "Paraathas". I always try to get goofy with my friends and i feel proud to have good friends (i am really lucky).

I use to take things very positively. I love my family, my friends and my pets.

So those were my boring thoughts and thank you for reading them patiently. And in the end of my first blog I would like to tell you my name.

Myself Manu Swami Sharma and luckily i am also sharing a big engineer bank of India.

Thanks and Regards.
